A question for the recruiters in my network, regarding CVs:
Do you actually use an ATS system that imports CVs (PDFs, word) into a common format and then perform automated matching?
I ask as there are hundreds of posts and indeed companies out there insisting that people need an ATS compliant CV, single column, no tables, no images, but it feels as if they are scamming people with false criticisms, and applying the same generic AI recommendations with the result being a machine-readable CV that is not engaging to a human.
